Irrigation Billing Examples
The
following example demonstrates what your cost should be/could be with
the billing based on our allocation method. The pricing method does not
discourage proper irrigation. The pricing method recognizes the fact that
you may not be able to control what or how much area must be irrigated
since Pierce County Planning requirements may enter into the picture.
These examples show the cost that is brought about due to increased level
of water use for the same physical area of turf and landscape. For this
example an acre is irrigated, with the first example depicting the 1"
per week average for the month. Subsequent examples are based on exceeding
this usage. The example illustrates water consumption cost
only.
